We’re in the US!!!

So, we’ve been here nearly a week, and we’re starting to get our feet under us we feel. It’s been really good so far…we’ve been spending some time with Seth’s family, and we’ve been having a few days on our own as well. We’ve done many things, but mainly we’ve been trying to get on this time zone!

Well, of course as everyone mentioned back in Ireland, we were coming to warmer weather. Well, it actually rained our first day here…go figure! But, it is really nice. Not too hot…just perfect spring time weather. (For now…stay tuned!!) The other day, we went out for a hike in a beautiful park right in the middle of the metro area of Phoenix called Papago Park. It’s a neat place…acres of virtually untouched land that makes you feel like you’re really in the desert rather than in the middle of the city. It’s elevated so you have amazing views of all the hustle and bustle, but it’s definitely calm, with wildlife and undisturbed land all around. It was a great day, and just wonderful to soak up some much needed sunshine!

Found a kid sized cactus...they were so careful not to touch it!
