For me, one of the greatest pleasures of going to Ouray is to take my kids to a place I grew up going to. They really love it…the scenery, the beauty and the fun adventure of being in the mountains, it’s just a ton of fun for them. They love it, and have told us no less than a dozen times that we HAVE to go back!! (Which makes Daddy happy!!) Since this is of the kids, there’s going to be a LOT of photos…and I won’t apologize for it! 🙂
Our kids and their cousins hanging out on an old bridge…not a bad place
A Deibel Family tradition…picnics on the “special” Indian Blanket my parents have had forever!
Grandpa teaching the kids a little gold panning. We were able to find some!!
Lot of things to explore…like old ore car tracks coming out of mine tunnels
Climbing to the highest of heights. This is the kids at the top of Imogine Pass – elevation 13,114 feet!
One of the fun things about being on the back roads are that the kids can ride in the car ways they don’t get to. The girls standing up, Isaac helping Grandpa drive!
Cailyn driving the Jeep we rented…she was really good!
Hannah taking her turn behind the wheel
Isaac was more into just sitting with me than anything…love this expression of him!
Isaac showing his pride in climbing to a waterfall
The girls are investigating…
Isaac being taught to use a slingshot by his cousin
Soaking up the sun, taking in the sights
